Returns & Exchanges

At EQUUS we love the items we stock and we want you to love them too! If, for some reason, you must return an item you purchased at EQUUS we are happy to accomodate you. So, here are the rules:

Return Policy on Stock Products

If you would like to return or exchange an item for any reason other than a manufacturers defect, please call us within thirty days of shipment and let us know the reason for your return or exchange. We will send you a return authorization form to include with your return shipment. No returns or exchanges will be accepted without a return authorization form, no exceptions.We recommend that you use an insured shipping company (UPS, FEDEX or USPS Insured) with a tracking number, as we are not responsible for any items returned until they are received and signed for by us at:

Be sure your product is in its original packaging in new and unused condition and send it back inside a shipping box. These items are returned to the sales floor, so if you wouldn't buy it as new, we can't accept it back. Once your package is received and processed, we will ship your exchange or issue a refund less any applicable shipping charges. Please note that  refunds will only be issued to the credit card used to make your original purchase.

If you are returning an item due to a manufacturing defect, please contact us. If it has been mpre than 30 days from the date of shipment, your return will be subject to the manufacturers warranty and return policies. Manufacturing defects do not include normal wear and tear, or the effects of improper care or misuse. In most cases your purchase will be replaced. If you have any question as to the manufacturers policies relating to an item you are interested in purchasing, please contact us before you make your purchase.

 Return Policy on Custom Items, Special Order Items, Bits, Horse Care Products and Leather Care Products

EQUUS does not accept returns on custom items, special order items, bits, horse care products or leather care products under any circumstances. There are no exceptions to this policy, so if you have any question about a product, please contact us before you place yoru order. We work hard with our vendors to ensure that your custom order and special order items arrive exactly as requested, but if your custom or special order items arrive not as ordered, contact us and we will send you an custom/special order corrrection form and a prepaid shipping label.  Return Policy on Bargain Boutique, Discounted and General Sale Items

Bargain Boutique, sale and discounted items are generally discontinued, previous season, limited sizes and colors available or vendor closeouts. Because of this, no returns or exchanges on these items will be accepted under any circumstances. If you have any question about an item you are interested in purchasing, please contact us before purchasing.
